Camp Kesem

Camp Kesem is a nationwide organization of college students dedicated to creating summer camps for children who are affected by their parent’s cancer.

SUU has a Camp Kesem chapter that provides a free summer camp for children across the state of Utah.

I am going to be a camp counselor and coordinator for SUU’s chapter of Camp Kesem this summer. From July 8th through the 14th I will help provide a safe and fun summer camp environment at Camp Wapiti in Tooele. As the volunteer coordinator I will train around forty five counselors to be prepared for camp.
